Political Ecology, Environment and Development

Dr Dressler's research focuses on the power and politics of forest conservation, indigenous rights and livelihood change in Southeast Asia, with a focus on the frontier island of Palawan. He has completed related research in Southern Africa, the Eastern Caribbean and the Canadian Western Arctic.
