Dr Andrew Doherty is a theoretical physicist, his research interests are in the area of quantum information and quantum optics.
Dr Doherty joined UQ in November 2003 from the California Institute of Technology where he was a member of the group of Assoc. Prof. Hideo Mabuchi. He was awarded his Ph.D in 2000 from The University of Auckland under the supervision of Prof. Dan Walls.
