 Biography

Dr Joe Da Costa’s research interests are in the fields of nanotechnology and environmental chemical engineering.

He received his PhD at the University of Queensland in 2000. His chief research projects are in the areas of:

  • Membranes for gas separation
  • Proton conductive membranes
  • Titanium oxide films for solar cells
  • Membrane reactors
  • Coal and hydrogen projects
  • Microgravity and ultragravity sol-gels
