Associate Professor Alan Corkhill    Reader

	Biography

Dr Alan Corkhill’s research interests include film adaptations of German novels, the philosophy of language, German short fiction since 1945, German travel writing, Germans in Australia.

His current research projects include “Happiness discourses in contemporary German fiction", and "Film adaptations of German literary classics"

His other activities include:

• Australasian Editor, Seminar. A Journal of Germanic Studies.
• Member or Editorial Board, Aumla. Journal of the Australasian Universities Language & Literature Association
