Dr Nicole Cloonan    Senior Research Fellow

	Biography

Nicole is a UQ Postdoctoral Research Fellow working in the Expression Genomics Laboratory at the IMB.

My work is multi-disciplinary in nature, involving computational biology and bioinformatics, biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology. My projects include defining and studying the transcriptional complexity of the extracellular space, the transcriptional complexity of the cell cycle, microRNA functional studies, and applying next-generation sequencing technology to study transcriptional complexity in model systems.
