 Biography

Specialises in natural resource economics, public finance, microeconomic theory and applied econometrics.

Current research interests include efficiency and sustainability of commercial fisheries in Australia and the Pacific region, evaluation of recreational fisheries, forest policy, and the cost of public funds in Australia.

Professor Campbell is President of the International Institute of Fisheries Economics and Trade, a former Associate Editor of Marine Resource Economics and a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Business Administration and Policy Analysis and Economic Analysis and Policy. He has been a consultant and advisor to government and industry on resource management issues in Australia, the Pacific region, New Zealand, Canada and Europe.
