Industrial relations; organisational change. Dr Tom Bramble is Senior Lecturer in Industrial Relations and International Business at the UQ Business School. Tom joined the School of Management in 1993 and currently lectures at both undergraduate and MBA levels. Tom completed his Honours degree in Economics from Cambridge University in 1982 where he was awarded the University Prize. He completed a Masters by research on industrial relations in the metal and engineering industry at the University of NSW in 1986 and a PhD on trade unionism in the vehicle industry at La Trobe University in 1992. He is currently conducting research on various topics in industrial relations including changes to the Workplace Relations Act and trade unionism. Tom is also a Chief Investigator in a three-year ARC Linkage Grant project investigating cultural change and implementation of balanced scorecard in Queensland Health. Tom has published widely in Australian journals as well as in South Africa, New Zealand and the UK.
