 Biography

Expertise in signal and image processing and biomedical applications in particular; Image and video compression such as the MPEG and JPEG standards.

Andrew Bradley received his PhD from UQ in 1996. Subsequently he has completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Alberta in Canada, been a Principal Research Engineer for Canon Information Systems Research Australia (CiSRA) and a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He is currently an Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering at the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE), The University of Queensland.
