	Biography

Professor Bhatia’s research interests are in the fields of Adsorption Science and Engineering and Heterogeneous Reaction Engineering.

Professor Bhatia received his PhD from Pennsylvania University in 1981. His current research projects are in the fields of:

• Adsorbate transport in mesoporous solids
  
• Molecular dynamic studies of transport in microporous carbons
  
• Density functional theory of adsorption in heterogeneous carbons
  
• Catalytic degradation of plastic wastes into liquid fuels and hydrocarbons
