Professor Christine Beveridge   
Arc Future Fellow

 Biography

Dr Beveridge's interest is in the control of plant development.

Her research is funded by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Integrative Legume Research and the CRC for Sugar Industry Innovation Through Biotechnology

Current projects:

  • Genetic regulation of shoot architecture including processes such as branching and flowering;
  • Identification of novel signalling molecules;
  • Cytokinin and auxin mutants and genes controlling these hormones or branching;
  • Shoot-root and root-shoot signalling;
