	Biography

Professor Neil Bergmann's research interests are in Computer Architecture: VLSI circuits and systems, Audio processing algorithms, Image and video processing, Algorithms, Reconfigurable computers, Embedded systems, Systolic Arrays and Space Electronics.

He received his PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 1984. His current research projects are in the fields of:
• Context Aware and Cooperating Embedded Systems
• Reconfigurable System-on-Chip
