	Biography

Professor Neil Bergmann's research interests are in Reconfigurable computers, Embedded systems, Assistive Technologies, Sensor Networks and Internet of Things.

He received his PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 1984. His current research projects are in the fields of:
Reconfigurable System-on-Chip; Sensor Networks, Internet of Things. He has previously worked at Telecom Australia, CSIRO, and QUT. Since 2001, he has been Professor of Embedded Systems at UQ.
