Target
Audience
|
Suitable for all professionals (e.g. GPs, Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists) who work with older people who are considering stopping driving, or need to stop driving. This is also a pre-requisite for the Assisting Older Drivers Retiring from Driving training.

Required for health professionals who will use the UQDRIVE Resource Package to assist individuals or groups of older drivers. These health professionals must also have undertaken Part 1: Introduction to Issues in Older Retiring Drivers.

- Web based training consisting of PowerPoint slides with audio.(Requires QuickTime 7: Download for free here)
- Handouts available for download and printing.
- Certificate of completion provided once training has been undertaken.
- 3 hours of audio lectures.
- 15 minutes assessment.

- Audio over PowerPoint presentations contained on USB
- Case Studies
- Handouts available for download and printing
- Certificate of completion provided once training has been undertaken.
- 6 hours of audio over PowerPoint lectures
- 1.5 – 2 hour assessment (includes modification of UQDRIVE resources to make specific to local area).
