The UQDRIVE team are currently undertaking a randomised control trial of the intensive support program for older retiring drivers.

Early research into the experience of other groups of people who retire from driving is also being conducted, with the aim of adapting the UQDRIVE program for these groups. These groups include:

• Young people with a vision impairment
• People who have sustained an acquired brain injury or stroke
• People with dementia and their family members.
