Increasing numbers of older people are retiring from driving due to health, financial or safety concerns or because they feel uncomfortable with driving.

Stopping driving can lead to both practical and emotional difficulties. Without assistance, retired drivers may be at risk of isolation, depression or unsafe transport use.

UQDRIVE has been developed to promote the safety, engagement and wellbeing of older retired and retiring drivers

Dr Jacki Liddle
Occupational Therapist and
Co-Author of UQDRIVE.
