Participation by all members is invited and encouraged. Members have the privilege of introducing guests as visitors to the Club.

Membership Criteria
The Staff and Graduates Club is primarily a club for:
- Full time or part time employees of the University of Queensland
- Members of boards and committees, established by the University of Queensland
- Individuals associated with the University of Queensland by virtue of duties or employment
- Members of professional, research and tertiary education institutions
- Graduates of the University of Queensland or of other tertiary institutions
- Graduates enrolled full time or part time at the University of Queensland
Club Functions
The Club boasts excellent facilities, as detailed above, for members to book private functions. In addition, the Club stages many excellent functions throughout the year for the enjoyment of members and their guests. These functions may take the form of a dinner dance, perhaps with a food theme or featuring a well-known artist, or the function could be a lunch with a high profile guest speaker.
Many Club functions are regular events, for example:
- Annual General Meeting (for members only)
- At Home - the feature event on the Club’s social calendar, features fine food, wine and trivia nights
- Christmas in July Luncheon - a relaxed evening featuring fine food, wine, entertainment and christmas cheer
- Gourmet Wine and Food nights - featuring the finest examples of the Club’s cuisine along with a wide variety of the very best wines from the Club’s Cellar
- Melbourne Cup Day Luncheon - a fun way to enjoy the first Tuesday in November
- Life Members' Luncheon - (for members only)
- Wine Cellar Tastings - generally held every month, these wine tastings showcase wines from various wineries and vineyards throughout Australia

Please see the below table for the pro-rata rate applicable if joining after the beginning of the Financial Year. These rates are on a pro-rata basis as you are not paying for a full year, renewal fees however will be based on full rate as per the table above.
