Amazing Life in Scandinavia
If you ask me, which country is the most beautiful in Europe, my answer is SWEDEN. This lovely Scandinavian country is much more than that -- it is one of the best countries I have ever visited. As a master student majoring in business, I am so lucky that I succeeded in applying for this one-semester exchange program.
From Australia to Sweden, from Brisbane to Stockholm, from UQ to SU (Stockholm University), I flew across half of the globe to experience the difference in culture, in education system, in life.
Although my friends very often mistake Sweden as Switzerland, every time I am very proud to correct them “Sweden is much bigger, much more beautiful than Switzerland”.
Swedish people are nice and speak the most fluent English in Europe in all non English-speaking countries. Stockholm is a city famous for its grand landscape and comfortable living environment. And SU is one of the best universities here. I love the green campus, the clean and well-equipped facility, and the communication style in classroom. Here, there is less pressure on assignments; instead we have more time to enjoy life.
I have travelled to about 18 countries in Europe during my exchange period in SU. Honestly speaking, this is one of the most attractive benefits when going on exchange to European universities. It is surprisingly convenient for students to budget-travel between EU countries by those budget airlines. So if you want to experience history and life beside the study life, I strongly recommend you apply for Sweden as your choice. I swear you will never be disappointed.
At last, I would like to thank UQ Abroad office again, if without your help, I would never have had this beautiful memory and unforgettable experience.
