Your application will be assessed against three criteria:
- Satisfaction of the eligibility criteria
- Faculty approval
- The number of places available at your preferred partner university.
If you have submitted a complete application and are successful, we will advise you by email around 6-8 weeks after the deadline. In this email, you may also receive the application documents for your host university.
Complete your host university application and hand it and any other required supporting documents to your Student Exchange Advisor for assessment.

UQ Abroad recommends you as an exchange student to the partner university. However the final decision regarding whether you will be accepted rests with the host institution.
Please note that your application is only valid for the nominated period. UQ Abroad does not accept deferrals, so you will be required to re-apply if you wish to delay your exchange. If at any point you wish to withdraw from UQ Abroad, notify the relevant staff member in writing.
