VU Medical Centre:
 - offers minor programs (pre-packaged "tracks" of 5 courses) in the field of medicine 
Exchange students who wish to apply for one of these tracks need to have completed at least #24 UQ units of credit in a relevant program like: medicine, biomedicine, psychobiology, technical medicine, medical biology, liberal arts & sciences or biopharmaceutical sciences.

Students will be registered at the Faculty of Social Sciences but they can choose courses from all Faculties, provided that they meet the course prerequisites.

Each semester is broken into 3 periods. Periods 3 and 6 are shorter (one month only) and therefore students only take 1 course during these periods.  All other periods (1, 2, 4, 5) students take 2 couress.  Therefore each semester is 5 courses each worth 6 ECTS totalling 30 ECTS for the semester.

Students can also study at the Amsterdam University College
but must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.5.
