All students studying at UPenn are required to maintain adequate health coverage throughout the duration of their exchange. Information regarding the UPenn Student Health Insurance Plan, including costs and benefits, can be found here.

Students may be eligible to waive the UPenn Student Health Insurance Plan if they have sufficient coverage and meet UPenn's minimum requirements for coverage. Please note that the waiver of the UPenn Student Health Insurance Plan is not guaranteed and is subject to UPenn's approval. If your current insurance does not meet UPenn's minimum requirements for coverage you will be required to purchase UPenn's Student Health Insurance Plan.

Available to nursing students for UQ's semester 1 only. Students must apply by May deadline.

 

Accommodation at UPenn: All exchange students are now required to live in Penn housing, and enroll in a meal plan. Students over the age of 23 at the start of their program may apply for a waiver to the housing requirement which will be reviewed by the Office of Housing.
