- The University of Nottingham is the first UK university to open overseas campuses - in China and Malaysia - as part of its global plan.

- Visit Sherwood Forest and Nottingham Castle while you are there! The two places are historically associated with the Legend of Robin Hood. Don't miss the Robin Hood Pageant in October or the Robin Hood Festival in August! (Note: Robin Hood Airport is actually in Doncaster closer to Sheffield than Nottingham.)
