Description: The University of Graz, which was founded in 1585, is Austria's second oldest university and one of the largest in the country. Many excellent scientists, amongst them six Nobel laureates, have taught and researched here.

Website for exchange students

Intensive German language courseA 3-week language course worth 6ECTS is offered to exchange students prior to each semester. The course is offered at several levels and costs 170 euro (in 2017) (UQ students receive a reduced fee).

Other language courses are offered through the Language Institute at Graz during semester and are worth 3 ECTS each. There is a small fee associated with these courses (70 euro each in 2017), but they can still count towards your overall exchange ECTS study load.
