On-campus accommodation at Exeter: Apply from mid-April for Autumn Term and from mid-November for Spring Term once accepted by Exeter

Exeter offers two £500 scholarships to UQ exchange students in AY 2012/2013. Eligible students nominated by UQ Abroad and accepted by Exeter will be considered for this scholarship in addition to the UQ Student Exchange Scholarships. No separate application required.

For students going on exchange in their last semester: transcripts are issued in late February for Autumn Term and in early July for Spring Term.  

 

FUN FACTS:

- The University of Exeter was attended by the Harry Potter's author, JK Rowling, as well as two grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II, Peter Phillips and Zara Phillips.

- The University of Exeter has strong links to the Arab world. You can study the historical, linguistic and social aspects of Middle East and the wider Islamic world. Arabic has been taught since the early 1970s. Persian/Iranian and Kurdish Language and Literature are also taught.

- Exeter is about 3 hours from London. The Streatham campus is close to Plymouth, Bristol, Bath and Cardiff and is a short distance from good surf beaches in Cornwall and Devon.

- Exeter is a few miles from Dartmoor National Park which provided the eerie background for Sir Authur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles. If you like long-distance walk, Dartmoor has the best ancient culture walk with a wealth of standing stones, burial mounds and Bronze Age settlements.
