Tuition fees to host institution: As an exchange student, you pay no tuition fees to your host university. However, some host institutions have a mandatory fee for Student Services and/or public transportation concessions. For more information about these fees, please see the individual host university web pages on the 'Where can I study?" page on this website.
Tuition fees or student contributions to UQ: As an exchange student, you remain liable for tuition fees or student contributions (HECS) at UQ. National Priority students will continue to be charged their student contribution at the National Priority rate (in 2012 $282.50 per unit) All other students will have their student contribution charged at the Band 1 (Arts) rate (in 2012 $353 per unit).
