Hi

The last week was not very exciting. I had the first exam, which went quite okay. As it was Short-Answer-Design I had a little bit trouble with the time, because I looked up some vocabularies and needed time to word what I wanted to say. I tried to make it sound at least somewhat academic, but that was more difficult than I had suggested. However, I think I have passed (:  The examination process itself was much more serious compared to my home university! In Germany we never got checked on student cards or were always allowed to bring our bags with us to the table. But the level of difficulty seemed to be similar to me. Now there are still two exams left! Both multiple choice, but that might be even more difficult. We’ll see!

Apart of studying I met my friends quite often during the week. So sad that most of them are about to leave Australia! We had a nice BBQ at Southbank, went to the cinema, to the West End Markets (I love them!) or Shopping in the Mall in Chermside, we had dinner at home and we even watched the European Championship at 5 o’clock in the morning^^

Now there are just one and a half weeks of examination left and then we will start our trip to Cairns. We also booked all trips this week (Fraser Island and the Whitsundays)! So we are ready to start!
