Time is flying by - and snow has arrived!!!!!

November10

It seems like years ago that I arrived in Oslo. So much has happened since then. And it wasn’t until a couple of days ago that I realised that the last time I blogged was more than a month ago - I have been so busy!!!

The title of this blog sums up the weather here in Scandanavia at the moment nicely. When I arrived, it was quite cool - particularly in the evening. However, in the last 2 weeks, daytime figures have dipped from double to single digits, and evenings are below freezing. And, on a couple of occasions, snow has fallen. Yes people - SNOW. And its only the end of October!!!

After the initial fear of getting lost on campus at uni subsided, I have been able to settle in classes. It’s great to still be able to do history subjects, but with a different take and perspective on things. But the semester is flying by so quickly, soon it will be time for exams and assignments are already piling up!!!

Being in Europe has many advantages, particularly when it comes to travel. Already, I have visited Denmark and Poland, and in the next month will be travelling to Germany, the UK, France and the Czech Republic. Hopefully, some study will also be done at some stage!!!

Going on exchange has also expanded my social calendar, but more importantly, has provided me with countless opportunities to meet dozens of other people on exchange like me from dozens of other countries. I have made so many new friends, and have had so many exciting and amazing experiences.

Well, it’s back to study for me - then planning for more travel!!!

Until next time,

Mon
