FUN FACTS:

- The impressive main building on campus - Founder's Building - has the feel of a quintessentially British "public school".  It is a Grade 1 listed building modelled on the famous Château de Chambord in France and is often featured in films. The Picture Gallery is a hidden secret in this building.

- Royal Holloway is particularly strong in Arts and Humanities, including English Literature, Victorian Studies, Drama and Theatre and Classics . It is also well-known for its friendly and supportive study environment - a good escape from the hustle and bustle of London.

- Royal Holloway will host athletes and team officials taking part in the London Olympic and Paralympic Rowing and Olympic Canoe Sprint events. Some of its halls of residence will also be used for accommodation for athletes.
