General Information Session or Faculty-Specific Information Session

ATTEND:

 a) General Information sessions will cover all of the basics of the UQ Abroad process.

 b) Short-Term Global Experiences information sessions will give you all the details on how to complete an activity during the UQ holidays.

 c) Faculty-specific information sessions will have a Faculty representative available to answer questions about Faculty specific topics.

 d) Targeted information sessions will look in depth at Costs and Scholarships for Exchange and How to complete an application and study plan for exchange.

Preparing for exchange can feel like stepping into the unknown, and that is why UQ Abroad organises a series of regional-specific Meet and Greet events to help you prepare for the semester abroad.

ATTEND a Meet and Greet Session:

Preparing for exchange can feel like stepping into the unknown, and that is why UQ Abroad organises a series of regional-specific Meet and Greet events to help you prepare for the semester abroad. In the one-hour informal session, you will get a glimpse of what academic and social life is like in your host country from:
• returned UQ Abroad students who have studied in your host country
• inbound exchange students from your host country who are currently studying at UQ

Note: Meet and Greets are intended for UQ Abroad students commencing exchange in Semester 2, 2017. If you are a prospective UQ Abroad applicant and would like to learn more about your preferred region, you are welcome to come along but please note that no formal presentations will be given. Before attending the event, it is important that you familiarise yourself with the UQ Abroad program and application procedures listed here.
