Berlin perspectives

Language of instruction: German, English
Full time load equivalent: 30 ECTS per semester (or 20 SWS)
Most of the courses have ECTS values listed under "Studiengänge/ SP" (which means "Studienpunkte").

Full-time load of courses for undergraduates can be found in English in:

NB: Exchange students must take the majority of their courses from within a single faculty at Humboldt (Berlin Perspectives program exempt).

Other fields of study may have courses in English available, but not enough for a full-time study load.  Students wishing to take courses in German must have a B2 level of proficiency. 


Berlin Perspectives program available for international students with minimal or no proficiency in German.  More information can be found here
 

Most postgraduate fields of study taught in English.

Language requirements

German language studies available during the semester.  Intensive pre-semester German language course available for exchange students (4 weeks long).


Housing is guaranteed if the host university application is submitted on time. Housing organised through external housing agencies - private or group residential options available.
