German as a foreign language courses available for intermediate to advanced level students only.

Some courses available in English in the fields of:

- English Literature
- Politics
- Science

For other fields of study, only those students who have an advanced German language ability (B2/C1) will be considered.

A 5-week Intensive German language course is available to exchange students prior to semester (for 300 Euros). The program includes a one-week stay in Blauberen, 180 hrs of German language tuition, day trips around the region, cultural excursions to the opera, museums and movies, and orientation.
Students are streamed into 3 levels: A2/B1 (lower intermediate), B1 (intermediate) and B2 (upper intermediate).

Students are encouraged to participate in a language tandem with a local German student.
