Insurance:

All students studying at AU are required to maintain adequate health coverage throughout the duration of their exchange. Information regarding the AU Student Health Insurance Plan, including costs and benefits, can be found here

 

Students may be eligible to waive the AU Student Health Insurance Plan if they have sufficient coverage and meet AU's minimum requirements for coverage. For more information regarding the wavier and if it is possible for you to waive the insurance, please contact AU after you have been accepted. Please note that the waiver of the AU Student Health Insurance Plan is not guaranteed and is subject to AU's approval. If your current insurance does not meet AU's minimum requirements for coverage you will be required to purchase AU's Student Health Insurance Plan.
