Bicycle Storage Bike riders enjoy bikeways available for riding at UQ. This is a popular pastime. Jump on your bike and head off with your friends for some invigorating exercise. Union College provides undercover storage for bicycles. Car Parking Two well lit car parks are available, where entry is boom gate controlled. Spaces are allocated on the basis of seniority as parking space is limited and demand is high. Street parking is possible, though at some distance from the college. The University is a walking world and many students find a car is not necessary.

Office The College Office is run by friendly staff and offers many services to residents. The Office is open until 10pm Monday to Thursday, until 5pm Friday, and 10am-4pm on weekends to cater to the busy lifestyles of students at university.

Printers and Photocopier Two high quality laser printers are available for use in the office, from your room via the College Network. Residents can enjoy the convenience of printing their lecture notes from their prepaid accounts without the hassle of empty ink cartridges and paper jams. A coin-operated photocopier is provided in the Office for use by residents.

Mail/Fax All mail, including Courier deliveries is kept at the Office for collection at your convenience. The College fax machine can be used to send and receive faxes on a user pays system. Encourage your family/friends to send you flowers, a gift basket or a mysterious parcel - Office staff will ring you personally to let you know.

Internet Credit

Internet access is provided to College Residents through UQ Connect, the University of Queensland's internet service. UQ students are currently allocated 400MB of downloads per month. The College Office sells Additional Download Quota Cards, which can be used if the monthly allocation is exhausted.
