What we do section

Global Experiences

Be on top of the world with one of UQ’s Global Experiences programs. Participate in the student exchange program UQ Abroad, gain work experience overseas with an international internship, or contribute to advancement in the developing world. The sky is the limit - where would you like to go?

Undergraduate Research Programs

UQ Undergraduate Research Programs offer undergraduate students the unique opportunity to gain research experience during vacation periods. As a successful scholar you will discover what research is being undertaken in your field of interest and work on your own research project. If you want to get valuable insight into the research process, this program is for you.

Professional Development Opportunities

The UQ Leadership Program helps you cover the costs for leadership opportunities, such as conferences, competitions and visits to other universities or laboratories. Grants are available for individual students, as well as clubs and societies.

UQ Campus Life

UQ has a vibrant campus life, and by signing up for activities you will have fun and meet new friends. Find out how you can get involved in student clubs and associations, UQ College life, and develop your leadership skills.

UQ Advantage Award

The UQ Advantage Award is a new program for undergraduate students that combines participation in a range of co-curricular activities across three core categories and access to a unique symposium series.
