Global Experiences

As a UQ graduate, it is important that you possess skills and knowledge to be competitive in our increasingly global environment. So make the most of your time at UQ and participate in all of the activities UQ has to offer – study overseas with UQ Abroad, apply for an internship, register for a volunteer placement, or participate in a short-term program overseas.

UQ Abroad

UQ’s student exchange program, UQ Abroad, provides students with an opportunity to study overseas for one or two semesters and earn credit towards their UQ degree.

Short term programs

UQ students have access to a range of additional language and short term study programs, and can seek financial assistance through the UQ Advantage Grant.

Universitas 21 Events

UQ students have the opportunity to participate in U21 activities such as student exchanges, research conferences, and summer schools.

The UQ Advantage Grant seeks to promote student mobility and to enhance student participation and involvement in curricular and related activities.

UQ Advantage Award

The UQ Advantage Award is a new program for undergraduate students that combines participation in a range of co-curricular activities across three core categories and access to a unique symposium series.
