Thank you for your interest in the UQ Advantage Award program.

The UQ Advantage Award program is open to all UQ undergraduate students.  

If you wish to participate in the program, you will be asked to accept the program's terms and conditions and agree to participate in:

  1. Co-curricular activities 
    Co-curricular opportunities will enhance your student experience and make you a more effective and sought-after graduate. You will need to complete at least one primary activity from each of the three categories, plus three secondary activities from any category. Details of the approved activities will be outlined so you are able to plan ahead, in terms of what needs to be completed and when these activities are generally available.
     
  2. UQ Advantage Symposium Series
    Participating students must also participate in six training activities, events or workshops offered as part of the UQ Advantage Symposium Series. A symposium program will be released at the start of each semester.

Information for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Candidates

If you are a PhD candidate, you may be eligible to participate in the UQ Career Advantage PhD Program, a new training initiative developed exclusively for PhD students. The program focuses on preparing candidates for their chosen careers, and is designed to stimulate greater interaction between students, industry, alumni and potential employers, producing more globally aware and mobile graduates. Students who participate in the Career Advantage PhD Program will accelerate their career development, benefit from cross-disciplinary dialogue and collaboration, and enhance their employability.
