The School of English, Media Studies and Art History employs tutors primarily in large first year courses. In particular tutors are regularly sought who possess:

• knowledge of the technical and aesthetic components of film and television within the context of a broader understanding of screen narratives, audience reception and industry imperatives
• knowledge of cultural studies approaches to media and communication
• experience in media industries or a background in media studies and/or cultural studies
• high level new media skills and/or knowledge.
