Interested in becoming a Tutor?
In the first instance, you should contact the coordinator of the course in which you are interested in tutoring; or one of our Program Directors may have knowledge of other courses needing tutors; or the tutor coordinator, Dr Ann Peterson.

Induction and Training
A Tutor Training Session is held at the beginning of first semester each year. Attendance is compulsory for all new tutors. Remuneration is available for attendance. Topics covered include the learning methodologies, facilities available within the School, tutor duties and responsibilities and administrative matters (timesheets, remuneration, OH&S etc). A tutor training kit is also provided at this session.

Tutors should meet with their course coordinator to discuss tutorial material and procedures prior to commencement of classes. Mentoring is also available for new tutors.
