UQ has again been recognised as having some of the best teachers and most innovative programs in the country through the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Awards for University Teaching.

UQ received three awards this year, placing us in the top five institutions nationally for 2009, and maintaining our position of having won more national teaching awards than any other institution since their inception in 1997.
