The Social Work and Human Services Alumni Association invites you to stay connected as you commence your career after graduating from The University of Queensland (UQ).
Mission
To reach and engage with The University of Queensland Alumni, who are graduates of the School of Social Work and Human Services, developing value-adding life-long connections through a range of events and activities; and growing and maintaining a network for professional, career and self-development opportunities.
The Alumni Association also undertakes to seek financial and in-kind support of Alumni in the development of the School, and the education and development that it provides, towards this discipline area.
Events 2012
The Alumni Association organises a number of events each year for its members, students of the School of Social Work and Human Services, and professionals in the health and community services industry.
- Alumni Dinner: Tuesday, July 24 at The Greek Club. Guest speaker TBA.
- Annual Jenny Morrison Memorial: Thursday, 24 May at Emmanuel College, UQ. Speaker is Lindy Morrison "Taking our Chances".

New graduate program
If you are a new graduate from the School of Social Work and Human Services and would like to meet with an experienced social work or human service practitioner informally, as a mentor for your career, please contact Secretary, Mark Cleaver on (07) 3365 2462 and he will discuss the mentoring program with you and match you with a suitable mentor.
