Children and Young People's Geographies: gender and childhood; street and working children; abuse and exploitation of children; physical and emotional punishment of children; female subcultures; youth and identity construction; participatory research with children and young people.
Community Development: community participation; participatory action research; gender analysis; social impact assessment; grass-roots NGOs; ethnographic and youth-centred research methods; migration; maternal and child health.
Teaching Areas:
Youth studies; community development in international contexts; sex, gender and society (Behavioural Studies).
