Human Services
The best combination of practical skills and knowledge in Qld. Be part of one of Australia’s fastest growing industries. Gain practical skills and knowledge at UQ.
What is Human Services?
Human Services is the name for the broad field of professionals who provide support and assistance to individuals, families and the community.
What can I study?
We’ve updated our program to provide you with the best combination of practical skills and knowledge of any human services degree in Queensland. This three-year degree differs from other Human Services programs in one essential way: it lets you combine an in-depth study of a specific field, with practical skills and techniques gained through a recognised human services program. By drawing on courses (subjects) offered through UQ's long established and highly regarded Arts Faculty, you will be able to choose up to eight courses in your preferred field and have this field recognised as a major when you graduate. You can also choose to pursue a dual degree in Human Services and Arts.
