”I am now working at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (part of Royal Adelaide Hospital) as a Social Worker. I am currently working in the ward that cares for elderly patients and some younger patients. It is a short-term rehabilitation ward. I am enjoying my work here.

The staff at my current workplace are wonderful. I’ve enjoyed the support they have given me and have given to the team. I enjoy working with the Doctors, the Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Physiotherapists and of course, with the other Social Workers in the Social Work Department. I’m learning and continue to learn more about my job here.

I miss my friends from my Singapore community as well as friends from UQ and from the Community Living Program. It’s a bit lonely here but I now have a few more friends and colleagues.”
