GoGet Carshare
Find out more about using Australia's largest car-sharing service, GoGet, which is launching at UQ during Sustainability Week. GoGet vehicles will be available on campus for staff, students and the general public to use, offering an easy, affordable and sustainable transport option.
Cycling Seminar/Workshop for Beginner Cyclists
This seminar will provide a basic understanding of common cycling injuries and management strategies including ergonomics/bike setup, physical conditioning and flexibility training.  Presented by staff and students of UQ's Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury Clinic, it is a must for any beginner cyclist.

Bike Set Up Analysis for Cyclists
Using your own bike, this activity consists of a basic assessment of your cycling posture, muscle length and movement as it relates to cycling.  Participants can expect some basic changes to their bike set up and specialist advice plus exercises to limit the risk of non-traumatic injury whilst cycling.
Film Screening: Cowspiracy
This environmental documentary follows intrepid film maker Kip Andersen as he explores the impact of animal agriculture on the environment.  Join Jonathan Sri, Councillor for the Gabba Ward, UQ's Associate Professor Kelly Fielding, Brad King, Director Farm Animal Rescue, and Robert Pekin, CEO and co-founder of Food Connect, for a panel discussion after the film. 
Production of this film was crowdfunded and the latest cut of the film has been executive-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio.

The UQU Environmental Collective and the UQ Union are hosting Ride to Uni Day! Get on your bike and ride to uni to show your support for sustainable transport options. Re-Usable Living
Single use plastic (think plastic bags, cutlery, containers) are about convenience, but the environmental costs for this small convenience in our day to day lives are huge!  A reusable life doesn't have to be difficult.  Inspiration, information and examples will be provided of how, with a few small tweaks to your existing habits, you can easily switch to a healthier, lower impact lifestyle.
Life on the Wild Side
An enlightening and educational seminar on the effects of making palm oil and its impacts on wildlife and biodiversity.  A screening of the movie "Rise of the Eco-Warriors" will follow accompanied by a workshop on making products from recycled materials, including learning how to make your own home-made paper.
The Great Barrier Gala
