UQ Schools and Centres are responsible for conducting relevant environmental training in their areas.

Staff are required to understand their environmental responsibilities and the environmental management procedures applicable to their School or Centre as detailed in UQ's Environmental Training and Awareness Program.

Online Sustainability Training Modules

Online Sustainability training covers UQ's environmental policies and procedures as well as workers' individual responsibilities relevant to working at The University of Queensland. 

University Staff Development Program

The available courses vary each year and include general sustainability topics plus specific training on the Environmental Management System. 

Green Office Program and Green Labs Program

  • The Green Office Program provides the opportunity for UQ staff to promote environmental sustainability at the local level.
  • The Green Labs Program provides the opportunity for UQ lab staff to promote good environmental practices in their laboratories.
