The University of Queensland operates a second hand furniture exchange program, managed by the Property and Facilities Division. Second hand and unwanted furniture and equipment from across the University is available to staff. Available items typically include bookcases, desks, under-desk drawers, small tables and chairs.
Regular furniture exchange store
When: Every Thursday, 10.30am - 12pm (resuming in 2016 from Thursday 21 January).

Where: Second-hand furniture store, Seddon West basement (enter from Services Road)

Please note:
  • All items must be used by staff for work purposes on University premises.
  • The items are free, however the new owner must organise and pay to have the item moved to the new location. We Move All is the preferred delivery service.
  • We Move All can also organise to have any unwanted furniture removed from your office. We Move All is generally cheaper than a skip and will decide if the item(s) are suitable for reuse.
