Attend orientation

Orientation Week (O-Week) is a University-wide celebration for international and domestic students who are beginning their studies at UQ.

Attending orientation is an important part of starting at a new university, so attendance is considered essential.

Complete your enrolment

Go to Starting at UQ for instructions on how to enrol online, sign on to classes, pay any remaining tuition fees (study abroad students) and get your student ID card. You can view the timetables for courses before enrolling in them. More information about planning your timetable is available here. You will need to be enrolled in at least one course by the end of Orientation week.

Organise permanent accommodation if you haven't already done so

UQ can help you find a suitable place to live, and give you ongoing accommodation advice and assistance.
