Students should conduct an advanced course search for postgraduate courses on UQ’s Programs and Courses website and list courses of interest on the International Student Application for Study Abroad or Exchange Program application form. Course selections will be assessed by the relevant faculty or school on a case by case basis.

Law students
Students who are currently enrolled in a law program at their home institution are eligible to take law courses at UQ. Students should select their courses from the course lists available on the UQ School of Law website (current student’s section). Course selections will be assessed by the School of Law on a case by case basis.

Credit for courses that are successfully completed is normally transferable towards the degree being undertaken at the student’s home institution. Students should contact the International Exchange Office at their home institution for more information about studying at UQ on a Student Exchange.

Additional Visa Requirements
Students who satisfy the University’s English language proficiency requirements may still need to meet additional student visa requirements for English proficiency, as required by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). DIAC will not accept a TOEFL score for students from some countries, and may require an IELTS test result to process a student visa application. For more information, students should check with their local Australian Diplomatic Mission or DIAC.
