Before applying to UQ, you need to make sure that your home institution approves all the courses you want to undertake at The University of Queensland.

Please discuss your course choices with your academic adviser or Dean at your home institution. They will be able to advise whether the courses correspond with the degree requirements of your university and whether you will receive credit at home for the courses you intend to enrol in at UQ.

Australian immigration regulations require that international students are enrolled as full-time students during their studies in Australia. You must plan to enrol in a full-time load during each semester you study at UQ. A standard full-time load is eight units, which is usually equates to four courses per semester.

UQ encourages students to consult detailed information online on the UQ Courses and Programs website when choosing courses. For detailed course description, click on the red "Course Profile" link from the course description page.
