Assessment of applications
UQ’s Study Abroad & Exchange Office assesses whether applications meet the admission criteria for entry to the Study Abroad and Exchange programs at UQ.
Notification of decision
Applicants to the Study Abroad or Student Exchange programs are normally notified of the application status within two to three weeks after their application is received by the Study Abroad & Exchange Office.
Successful applicants who meet all the entry requirements will receive an emailed letter of unconditional offer of admission to the University as a Study Abroad or Exchange student. If there are outstanding conditions you may be sent a conditional offer. To satisfy these conditions, the appropriate documentation must be returned to UQ’s Study Abroad and Exchange office.
Changing or withdrawing
Under special circumstances, international students can defer the commencement of their studies, or suspend/interrupt their studies.
