Make the most of your break by enrolling in the wide range of courses offered at UQ over Summer Semester.
You can fast track your studies and achieve your career goals sooner or take the opportunity to learn something completely different. There are both undergraduate and postgraduate courses available and you don't need to be a current UQ student to apply.
Anyone can participate, including:
- Students from UQ and other universities wishing to accelerate or diversify their studies;
- Professionals looking to advance or stay current;
- People seeking tertiary study for the educational experience or for personal development, interest or pleasure;
- High-school students.
If you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student at UQ or another institution and would like to take an undergraduate course in Summer Semester, you can apply for HECS-HELP and avoid paying your student contribution amount upfront.
The Summer Semester provides for the intensive study of selected undergraduate and postgraduate courses from award programs, most of which would normally take at least one standard semester to complete. Summer Semester runs between November and February. See Important Dates for more information. For more information about enrolling call (07) 3365 2600.
