Ford Memorial Prize

Applications are invited in August each year for the Ford Memorial Prize from undergraduates who, not having already been twice awarded the prize, submit the best poem in English, published or unpublished. All entries are to include name, student number, current postal address, telephone contact and the program in which enrolled. Email applications will not be accepted.

For application: There is no application form. Mail poetry entries to 'Ford Memorial Prize' Undergraduate Scholarships and Prizes Office, Level 6, JD Story Building, The University of Queensland QLD 4072, or submit at a Student Centre addressed as above.
Applications close: Closed for 2009.  Applications for the 2010 prize will open in approximately August 2010.
